WEDDING CELEBRATION:

Congratulations to Simon McDonald and Annie Zahra on their wedding on Saturday 14th February. It was truly a special day and very romantic for Simon and Annie to be married on Valentine’s Day. We wish Mr and Mrs McDonald a lifetime of happiness together.

40TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION:

Our season opening function on Saturday 11 October was a double celebration as we celebrated the 40th birthday of long time and popular club member, Barry Smith. Like all good surprise party, it didn’t quite go to plan as Barry caught wind of the planning. Being a good sport Barry played along and tried to look surprised on the night. Everyone had a great time and it was a brilliant start to our summer season.

2008/2009 SUMMER SEASON:

The 2008/2009 Summer season finished on Saturday 28th February. All 4 teams performed well throughout the season with three teams finishing in 5th place on the ladder. Unfortunately we don’t have any teams participating in the finals.

Many members attended the end of summer BBQ and shared some of their finer moments of the season. It will be a quite period around the club until the commencement of the Winter season.

WINTER 2009 SEASON:
Teams have been submitted for the Winter season which commences on Saturday 2nd May. The club has two Mixed teams submitted, B Special 2 and B Grade 3 and is waiting final grading from WDTA.

LES BLAKE SHIELD:

The Les Blake Shield for Best Club Person was awarded to Jerry Templin. Karen Sharp presented to shield to Jerry.
